  • Do not use words found in the dictionary.
  • Do not use proper names.
  • Use one or more numbers in the password.
  • Use one or more non alphanumeric characters in their password.
  • It is strongly recommended that users with access to confidential and/or sensitive data utilize one or more of the suggestions to harden their password beyond the minimum requirements.

As new data is saved to the computer it is placed in these gaps, if the gaps are too small the remainder of what needs to be saved is stored in remaining gaps. A defragmenter is a software utility that rearranges the fragments or discontiguous parts of each file stored on a computer hard disk so that the small, empty storage spaces adjacent to fragments can be used, effectively creating new storage space and possibly making file access faster.
