Battery Percentage on an earlier version of the iPhone has to be enabled manually. We’ve to get inside settings and enable it by ourselves. But this problem is now finally solved with newer versions of iPhone starting from iPhone X. There is no need for any special settings waiting to be enabled.
You can simply Swipe up to get to Control Center and then on the top-right corner of your screen you can see the remaining battery percentage on your iPhone. Not only on iPhone but other devices like iPad and iPod uses the exact same technique to display the percentage of battery.

How to Show Battery Percentage on other iPhone
It’s easier than you can imagine in order to show the remaining battery percentage on the lower iPhone version as well. Moreover, those devices will show you the percentage of battery on the status bar which is easier than on the latest iPhone version.
Enable Battery Percentage on older iPhone versions:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to the Battery option and click on it.
- Turn on Battery Percentage.
On some version of iPhone including iPhone SE (Second gen.) or iPhone 8 or earlier iPhone usually show the battery percentage on the status bar. Only when the low power mode is turned on.
